Robert Mattson (15th dan)
Robert has been a student of the martial arts for over 45 years. He was a Tae Kwon Do instructor and competed in sports-style martial arts in the 1980’s, including full-contact kickboxing. He began training in the Bujinkan in 1984; has taken dozens of trips to Japan to train with Hatsumi-Soke and the Japanese Shihan; and spent a total of six years living, working, and training there. He founded Martial Arts for Education (M.A.F.ED.), a nonprofit martial arts program for school-aged children.

Sean Ondes (8th dan)
Sean began training in the Bujinkan with Abigail Allen in 1997. Since then, he has traveled to Japan many times for instruction from senior teachers. He received his Shidoshi (teaching) license from Hatsumi-Soke in 2009.

Tom Barton (4th dan)
After spending some time in martial arts in his youth, Tom began training in the Bujinkan in 2002 at Purdue University in Indiana, ending up in New Mexico in 2008 after having lived and trained in Alabama for a year.
