Congratulations to Leverett and Ryan!
Ryan was promoted to 3rd Kyu, and Leverett was promoted to 8th Kyu.
The remainder of the class was focused on material surrounding the two tests, providing examples of what to work on and lessons-learned for a good foundation moving forward.
Training Log 05/08/2014
Ukemi as usual, followed by sword for the majority of class. Focus was on basics of grip, footwork, kamae, moving the blade with the body, and finally strategic concepts.
ATTN: Schedule Update!
Adult training will be moving to Thursdays only, beginning next week: Thursday, May 1st, will be the start of the new schedule. In fact, since it will be the first Thursday of the month, that will also be Robert’s class. Be there or be square!
